Get Childcare: step by step
The Government has provided a guide on how to find childcare, get help paying for it and what to do if your circumstances change.
This includes information on your legal entitlement to access to high quality early years provision through a free government funded part-time place of fifteen hours from the term following a child’s third birthday up until they reach compulsory school age. (The Government gives funding to local councils to support the provision of free, part-time early learning for all three and four year olds. Children can start in the term following their third birthday until they are of statutory school age.
